Independent insurance agents typically represent a number of insurance companies or "carriers", selling products that most appropriately meet the needs of their clients. As your Broker’s general agency, we will work with on your cases to ensure your clients insurance needs are met with the best policy options available. Once a decision is made on insurance carrier and product, we will assist you with your carrier appointment and make you aware of any product specific courses that the carrier may require in order to license with them. Independent agents must also be licensed (resident and non-resident) in the states in which they sell insurance products. Prior to taking an out-of state application make sure you are properly licensed in that state.
